True Brit

 

This series of 4 three-minute films will investigate British identity.  Focusing on four distinct cultural markers - tea, curry, football, and the black cab (along with the rituals that surround each) - the films will highlight that even amongst the mundane and common place there exists a vibrant individuality that forms who we are as Britons today. 

The directors Damien and Simon have produced 3 Short Films which have all enjoyed successful receptions at various film festivals as well as featuring on the BBC’s film network and various websites. They won first place at London’s BFI 48 hour Film Challenge for their film, Haunted Boneyard where the production was completed in a period of 48 hours with a randomly allocated title and theme.
